Texas grocery royalty HEB is finally rolling into Manor and the community is ready for it. The store opens October 22 at six in the morning at 13100 FM 973 and it is not showing up quietly. The first 200 people in line will score gift bags, breakfast tacos, and that familiar sense of pride that comes from being first in something big.
The new HEB covers more than 100,000 square feet and is larger than most stores in Austin making it the 4th largest in the brand’s line-up. Inside you can expect polished floors, fresh produce, a strong smell of baked goods, and those infamous tortillas they’re known for.
This location includes everything you expect a modern H-E-B, including a full pharmacy, curbside pickup, a 14-bay gas station, and a car wash. The building was designed with what the company calls contemporary Texas materials which means it looks good enough to make you want to purchase patio furniture you do not need.

The new store sits at the northwest corner of FM 973 and Highway 290 inside the Manor Crossing Shopping Mall, next to Home Depot. On one side is Walmart and multiple casual restaurants. This stretch of road is set to become the city’s new weekend activity and shopping hotspot.
Cathy Harm, senior vice president for Central Texas, said, It is an honor to serve a new community and Manor could not agree more. The town has been growing fast with new homes, restaurants, and small businesses. Having an HEB is like getting your official welcome letter to modern Texas life. When those doors open on October 22nd, expect a crowd that feels more like a festival than a grocery debut.
