Austin just landed its first PopStroke, and it’s not exactly a quiet arrival. We’re talking two 18-hole mini-golf courses with misting fans, interactive scoreboards, cocktails delivered straight to your putter, and a dessert menu that feels like it was dreamed up during summer camp. Add in Tiger Woods’ name on the ownership roster and you’ve got yourself a sports-entertainment mashup worthy of Austin’s energy.
PopStroke officially opens Thursday, September 11 at The Pitch, the seven-acre sports and dining hub in Northeast Austin, right by Parmer Field and the Austin FC training facility. It’s the brand’s 19th U.S. location, fifth in Texas, and third with a college-town spirit after Tuscaloosa and College Station.

The Playground
PopStroke is taking over operations at The Pitch, which means a fresh spin on the space. Beyond the two sleek mini-golf courses, you’ll find pickleball courts with rentable paddles, brand-new sand volleyball courts, outdoor games like cornhole and foosball, plus an esports gaming zone for the friend who claims their thumbs are athletic.
The setup encourages wandering, from green to bar to table, with a patio vibe that feels equal parts sports bar and backyard party. This is where you bring friends who swear they can read putts and then quietly keep score on the app for proof.

Eat, Drink, and Putt
At the center is BarTenders, PopStroke’s quick-service restaurant and bar. The menu hits the balance between casual and elevated: think burgers, wings, craft beer, and cocktails that actually taste good. For dessert, there are 16 ice cream flavors and milkshakes bold enough to erase a three-putt.
Thanks to the PopStroke app, guests can track scores, order food, and even get drinks delivered mid-round. Yes, someone will actually bring you a cocktail while you argue about whether your ball was still rolling.

Why Austin Works
PopStroke’s new spot sits just 10 miles from the University of Texas, tapping into a city that knows how to mix sports, nightlife, and community. It’s family-friendly by day, perfect for coworkers at lunch, and rowdy enough for date night or post-game hangs after dark.
As founder Greg Bartoli puts it, Austin is the perfect city for this “collegiate-inspired” venue. Tiger Woods calls it a milestone in making golf more inclusive, while TaylorMade’s CEO David Abeles points to Austin’s growing sports scene as the ideal home. Translation: this is golf for everyone, not just the guy who insists on quoting his handicap.
