Bulleit Bourbon kicked off year two of its partnership with Texas Athletics last Saturday with the return of the Bulleit Frontier Lounge, taking over the LBJ Lawn ahead of the Longhorns game with cocktails, food, games and giveaways for fans 21 and older.

There are plenty of traditions surrounding a Texas Longhorns tailgate parties. Burnt orange everywhere. Bevo. BBQ smoke, beer, and a pretty serious pregame cocktail scene.

The tailgate had all of the pre-game energy. It was a little crowded without feeling chaotic, plenty happening around the lawn and most importantly, ice cold drinks within reach.

Behind the bar, Bulleit leaned into Texas game day with two signature bourbon cocktails. The Bulleit Bourbon Peach Lemonade mixed bourbon with peach and lemon, while the Blackberry Tea combined Bulleit with blackberry, lemon, unsweetened black tea and a splash of ginger ale. Both were built for an Austin afternoon when drinking bourbon neat under the Texas sun might qualify as unnecessarily ambitious.

The Frontier Lounge is scheduled to return to the LBJ Lawn throughout the Longhorns’ home schedule. Once inside Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium, fans 21+ can also find another Bulleit Frontier Lounge on the sixth floor serving the signature cocktails alongside selections from the Bulleit portfolio.

The partnership extends to the Texas Exes game-day tailgates at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, with Bulleit cocktails and neat pours available during the season and additional sampling planned for select games.

Later this month, Bulleit is also expected to launch a six-week Longhorns sweepstakes featuring a November 21 Texas-Arkansas game-day experience, including two tickets, a pregame field tour with Bevo, a former Texas football player meet-and-greet and a head coach-autographed football.

Bulleit isn’t just showing up for kickoff, they’re settling in for an exciting season.
