Hotel Magdalena is teaming up once again with Luck Reunion for another edition of Luck on the Lawn, the free outdoor music series returning Saturday, May 30.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the hotel’s Bobbie Nelson Lawn and will feature a live performance from Rett Madison, whose recent appearances include performances on Late Night with Seth Meyers and international tour stops stretching from Texas to France.
Set against the backdrop of South Congress and Music Lane, Luck on the Lawn has become one of the more laid back live music gatherings in the area, mixing local music fans, hotel guests, and neighborhood crowds into a casual picnic style setting.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and settle in for the evening, with food and drinks available for purchase throughout the event.
The performance takes place directly on the Bobbie Nelson Lawn, the outdoor green space tucked inside Hotel Magdalena’s lake inspired boutique property developed by Bunkhouse Hotels.
Known for blending Austin music culture with boutique hospitality, Hotel Magdalena has continued hosting live music events and collaborations that lean heavily into the city’s independent music roots rather than larger festival style productions.
Admission to Luck on the Lawn is free, though RSVPs are encouraged.
