Heritage Fire and Whiskies of the World are officially joining forces for the 2026 Heritage Fire x Whiskies of the World Tour, a multi city global festival series that launches right here in Austin. The tour opens on Sunday, March 8 at Star Hill Ranch, placing Austin at the front of a culinary lineup that stretches across the United States and Europe.
Produced by Tours by a21, the new production arm behind Miami based culinary event agency a21, the tour brings together two brands that have built strong followings in the food and spirits world. Heritage Fire focuses on live fire cooking, where top chefs and pitmasters create open flame dishes during a walk around tasting experience. Whiskies of the World highlights premium international whiskey brands through guided tastings and education. Select markets will also host collaborative Whiskey and Fire events that combine both concepts into one immersive festival.

Austin sets the tone for the tour with an all inclusive live fire feast that leans into the city’s deep culinary bench. Guests can expect unlimited tastings, curated beverages, and open air cooking stations where chefs serve dishes straight from the flame. Participating Austin chefs include Gerard Kenny of Laurel Restaurant, Geronimo Lopez of Hotel Emma, Albert Gonzalez of Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden, Nicola Blaque Massey of Jerk Shack, Eric Paz of Chef Eric Paz Catering, Danny Kievit of Leave It to Kievit LLC, Ian Thurwachter of Intero, Mario Mendieta of Suculenta Cocina Mexicana, and Holden Fulco of Parish Barbecue.
Attendees will also vote for their favorite dish of the day, with one chef earning the title of Heritage Hero. Winners from select markets advance to the Heritage Hero Grand Finale Presented by Visit Greenville, South Carolina, where the tour’s top chefs compete for Heritage Hero of the Year.
