If you’ve been ordering from Austin Rotisserie out of Fareground downtown, good news. The French rotisserie concept has expanded north with a new location, now open.

The new spot is called Austin Rotisserie Takeaway and it’s operating out of ATX Kitchens at 510 E Anderson Lane, right near the I-35 and Highway 183 interchange. The format is built around convenience. Orders go through their website or any major delivery app, and pickup runs through a drive-thru window at ATX Kitchens. Pull up, ring the doorbell, give them your name and the restaurant name, and you’re out. There’s also a kiosk inside if you’d rather order in person and eat at one of the dining room tables.

The menu matches the downtown Fareground location, which is the point. Owners Eric and Sophie Nathal have been expanding their offerings to lean further into authentic French comfort food, and some of the best additions to date are on the menu right now.

New items include porchetta served on its own or in a baguette sandwich, housemade smoked salmon showing up in a Norwegian baguette and as salmon rillettes, duck and chicken rillettes, pâté en croûte, crème brûlée, and mousse au chocolat. They also recently brought on Remi Veuillet as charcutier to keep building out the French charcuterie program, with more items still coming.

“We reached the capacity for what we could do in our current kitchen,” co-owner Eric Nathal said. “We’re excited to soon have a second kitchen that allows us to continue growing the menu, expand catering capabilities, and better serve customers, both old and new.”

The original Fareground location stays open and keeps its full menu. The North Austin kitchen is just more of a good thing, closer to more people.

Austin Rotisserie Takeaway is open now. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Orders at austinrotisserie.com or through delivery apps. Follow along at @austinrotisserie.
