Clear your calendar and prepare your appetite: the Austin Food & Wine Festival is back Nov. 7–9 at Auditorium Shores, and this year’s lineup is stacked with heavy-hitting chefs, pitmasters, and cocktail pros ready to keep you full and maybe just a little buzzed.
Now in its 14th year, the festival has become Austin’s ultimate weekend for food lovers, wine nerds, and anyone who thinks “networking” should involve a plate of brisket in one hand and a glass of pinot in the other. Tickets are officially on sale, and if history is any guide, they won’t last long.

The Chef Showcase
Think of it as culinary Coachella but with more smoke and less glitter. Big names like Tiffany Derry, Tiffani Faison, Fabio Viviani, Tristen Epps, Kevin Fink, and Tavel Bristol-Joseph will be on stage showing off their skills. You’ll also catch cookbook star and YouTube sensation Joshua Weissman, probably reminding us all how we’ve been chopping onions wrong.
The Chef Showcase also highlights Austin’s homegrown talent with bites from local legends and fresh newcomers. Expect favorites like Uchi, Loro, Suerte, Wu Chow, Tacodeli, and more. It’s basically speed dating with restaurants—except you get fed instead of ghosted.

Made In Texas
Friday night kicks things off at the Long Center Terrace with Made in Texas, a dine-around party celebrating the state’s food, music, and culture. Chefs from across Texas, including Derry, Faison, Garcia, and Viviani, will serve dishes that honor the Lone Star State. You’ll taste everything from barbecue to bakeshop creations, with live music carrying the night.
This is the one event that’s usually wrapped into VIP access, but for 2025 a limited number of standalone tickets were released. The bad news? They sold out almost instantly. If you missed it, hop on the waitlist and pray to the queso gods.

Tickets
All tickets include unlimited food and drinks (yes, unlimited), with options ranging from single-day passes to the full weekend experience.
- VIP Passes: Early entry, private lounges, curated bites, and restrooms that don’t involve 20-minute lines.
- Weekender Passes: Full Saturday and Sunday access to 50-plus restaurants, wine, beer, spirits, and chef demos.
- Single Day Tickets: Great if you just want one day of indulgence before pretending you’ll hit the gym on Monday.
And for aspiring grillmasters, Tim Love’s Hands-On Grilling class returns. You’ll grab a charcoal grill, get coached by the chef himself, and walk away with bragging rights that extend way beyond “I make a mean hot dog.”
Tickets are available now at austinfoodandwinefestival.com/tickets. All proceeds benefit the Texas Food & Wine Alliance, supporting culinary innovation across Central Texas.
This festival is basically your hall pass to eat, drink, and talk about how you “really should start a food blog.” Just make sure you block off Monday for recovery.
