Austin is enjoying one last taste of summer, and it comes covered in pineapple fluff and toasted coconut.
Voodoo Doughnut has teamed up with Captain Morgan for the Piña Colada Paradise, a limited edition doughnut inspired by the Captain Morgan Sliced Colada Variety Pack. The collaboration is available August 24 through August 30 at participating Voodoo Doughnut locations, including both Austin shops.
The tropical inspired doughnut starts with piña colada flavored frosting, followed by a strawberry frosting drizzle, pineapple fluff and toasted coconut. The finished creation also features Captain Morgan’s signature crossed swords on top.
The collaboration leans hard into the final days of summer, combining Voodoo Doughnut’s famously over the top approach with flavors normally reserved for something served beside a swimming pool with a tiny umbrella in it.
The Piña Colada Paradise is priced at $4.50 and will only be available for one week. In Austin, guests can find it at Voodoo Doughnut’s downtown location on East Sixth Street and its Burnet Road shop.
The special is also being offered at participating Voodoo Doughnut locations elsewhere in Texas, including Houston, San Antonio and Dallas.
