Last Thursday, community leaders, first responders, and supporters gathered at Pluckers Wing Bar’s Research location in Austin to celebrate a major milestone in Texas flood relief efforts. The luncheon marked the official presentation of more than $116,000 raised for Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR), a nonprofit first responder organization.

The donation came from a statewide fundraiser on July 14, when Pluckers contributed 20% of sales across all locations, generating $103,000. Guests also donated loyalty points, adding another $13,000 in value. Over recent weeks, Pluckers has gone further, providing hundreds of meals to first responders and search and rescue crews working in flood-affected areas.

TEXSAR has been instrumental in responding to the devastating Central Texas floods that began over the July 4 weekend. Their teams have conducted extensive search and rescue operations, supported evacuations, and provided disaster relief to impacted communities. The organization continues to serve on the front lines, offering critical assistance during emergencies across the state.

With its strong tradition of community engagement, Pluckers regularly supports local schools, veterans’ groups, and health nonprofits. This fall, the company’s focus will turn to breast cancer awareness initiatives, continuing its mission to serve Texans both at the table and in times of need.
