Amplify Austin Day is back, and if you have lived here long enough, you know this is one of those days where Central Texas shows up in a big way.
The 14th annual community wide giving event kicks off at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 and runs through 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. Organized by I Live Here I Give Here, the goal this year is to raise $10 million for more than 700 local nonprofit organizations across the region.
Since launching in 2013, Amplify Austin Day has raised $122.4 million for 1,626 Central Texas nonprofits. That includes everything from animal rescue groups and arts organizations to housing initiatives, veterans programs, environmental causes, and basic needs support.
How It Works
The entire event takes place online at AmplifyATX.org. Donors can search participating nonprofits by keyword, cause category, or location across seven counties including Travis, Hays, Williamson, Burnet, Bastrop, Caldwell, and Blanco.
Early giving is already open, which means you do not have to wait until 6 p.m. to start donating. Early gifts still count toward official totals and can help nonprofits unlock matching funds and prize incentives.

Matching Funds and Community Support
Several local businesses and foundations have stepped up with challenge funds and category matches this year. Austin Community Foundation is offering a $25,000 match for Animal Care and Services organizations. The Central Texas Community Foundation is backing a $30,000 match supporting military veterans and animal care efforts in Williamson County. The Kintzel Family has committed $20,000 toward housing, shelter, and homelessness initiatives.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is contributing $25 per donation up to $15,000 for Arts and Culture groups when donors use #LoveTitos at checkout. The Shield Ayres Foundation is supporting a $10,000 match for Basic Needs nonprofits. For many local organizations, this 24 hour window can make a significant difference in annual funding. For donors, it is one of the simplest ways to support the causes that keep Central Texas running.
Amplify Austin Day runs from 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 through 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at AmplifyATX.org.
