Amaya is doubling down on its rooftop appeal with a new cocktail program and expanded Mediterranean menu, marking its latest move to stand out in the increasingly crowded Rainey Street dining scene.

Located 12 floors above Rainey inside Paseo, the restaurant has quickly become a go to for skyline views and group friendly dining. Now, it is putting more focus on what’s actually in the glass and on the table.

The biggest update comes from a new beverage program developed in collaboration with Terance Robson, whose resume includes stops at notable cocktail destinations like Milk & Honey, Trailer Happiness, and Here Nor There.

At Amaya, Robson’s approach leans into Mediterranean flavors with a menu designed to transition from early evening drinks into late night orders. The lineup includes a mix of spritz driven cocktails and more spirit forward builds.

Highlights include the Clara Costa with gin and basil, the mezcal based Suave with blood orange and smoked salt, and the espresso leaning La Hora Negra. A zero proof option, Pomp and Circumstance, rounds out the list with pomegranate, ginger, and lime.

Alongside the cocktail rollout, Amaya has expanded its food menu while keeping its shareable Mediterranean format intact. Returning staples include the mezze platter, falafel with avocado labneh, tahini Caesar salad, and whole grilled branzino.

New additions bring more depth to the menu, including wild red prawns with harissa and tomato orzo, Spanish octopus with nduja cream and salsa verde, and a lamb ragu with pappardelle, English peas, and lemon labneh.

Desserts continue the Mediterranean influence with options like chocolate cremeux with whipped tahini and pistachio praline, as well as a strawberry sumac semifreddo.

These updates make Amaya a more complete dining destination on Rainey Street, balancing its rooftop setting with a stronger focus on both its bar program and kitchen.
