One of Austin’s buzziest cocktail destinations is getting a major upgrade.
Bar Fino, the European-inspired cocktail bar tucked along Rainey Street, has expanded into the neighboring bungalow and patio space formerly occupied by Parlor Room, creating a new all day hospitality destination that brings together coffee, breakfast, lunch, cocktails, dining, and community events under one roof.
The expansion comes less than a year after Bar Fino opened and quickly became a favorite among cocktail enthusiasts and hospitality insiders. The concept recently earned national recognition as a Regional Top 10 Honoree for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar in the Central region from the Spirited Awards presented by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation.
The newly expanded space introduces a collaboration with two well known Austin brands. Fleet Coffee will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing its acclaimed coffee program to Rainey Street for the first time. Guests can expect espresso drinks, pastries from Rockman Coffee + Bakeshop, and specialty beverages like the Key Lime Pie Latte, Matcha Mojito, and the Daywalker, a tropical inspired cold brew drink designed for hot Austin afternoons.
Joining Fleet is Michelin recognized favorite La Santa Barbacha, which will serve breakfast and lunch daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bib Gourmand recipient is known for its barbacoa and tacos and will offer a menu featuring breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, traditional Mexican breakfast dishes, a new Barbacoa Bowl, and rotating seasonal aguas frescas.
As the sun goes down, the space transitions back into Bar Fino’s signature cocktail driven experience.
The evening menu continues to feature guest favorites including oysters, wagyu beef tartare, steak frites, sourdough flatbread, and the restaurant’s signature burger. Behind the bar, the aperitivo inspired cocktail program remains front and center with returning favorites like the Melon & Basil Spritz, Tomato & Pineapple Margarita, and Sherry Cobbler Milk Punch.
New seasonal additions include the Raz Aperol Spritz, Irish Goodbye, Kalimotxo, Frozen Peach Sangria, and a Frozen Prickly Pear Margarita, giving guests plenty of reasons to linger on the patio throughout the summer.
Beyond food and drinks, Bar Fino has also evolved into one of Rainey Street’s growing cultural gathering spots. Recurring events include Vinyl Nights, First Thursdays, collaborative chef dinners, DJ sets, guest pop ups, and the popular Body Language party series.
The concept is led by Austin hospitality veterans Terance Robson, Jack “Slim” Hogan, Vincent Glackin, and Matt Wolski, whose collective resumes include some of Austin’s most recognizable hospitality brands including Here Nor There, Parley, Victory Lap, Bar Hacienda, NADC Burger, and Parlor & Yard.
Bar Fino is located at 88 1/2 Rainey Street and is now open seven days a week. No reservations are required.
