Whether its oysters, fresh fish, shrimp, oysters or crawfish, there are several delicious spots to get your fill of outstanding seafood dishes and fresh market offerings in the city. Here’s our guide to our favorite spots for sea-worthy fare in Austin.

Mongers Market + Kitchen
2401 E Cesar Chavez St. | Monger’s is famously known in east Austin for their wide selection of fish, shrimp, ceviche, poke and raw offerings.

Quality Seafood Market
5621 Airport Blvd | Quality Seafood has been Austin’s go-to destination ocean loving eaters with the highest quality fresh and frozen seafood since 1938. The restaurant serves local Gulf favorites, like shrimp, oysters, and crawfish, alongside mouth-watering daily preparations, like Grilled Black Drum or Blackened Salmon.

Keeper’s Coastal Kitchen
Helmed by Amir and Ali Hajimaleki with chef partner René Melendes, Keeper’s is named after Chef Amir’s favorite pier in Port Aransas. Keepers offers sustainably-caught seafood from across the country with flavors from around the world. The family-friendly, casual eatery will utilize a convenient QR code ordering system, where guests can order upon being seated and staff will bring items as ready.
Salt Traders Coastal Cooking
Two Locations | Jack Gilmore’s seafood restaurant offers a menu that spans from raw bar offerings, shrimp, fried and blackened fish, to hearty bowls of chowder.
Hours: Daily 11am – 10pm
Truluck’s
Truluck‘s offers an amazing menu of seafood and steak selections, showcasing special offerings during special holidays. Truluck‘s stands committed to being champions of sustainable seafood, and works hard to bring customers the best-tasting, sustainable ingredients that make sense for the plate, the palate and the planet. Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended.
TLC Austin
1100 S Lamar Blvd Ste. #1150 | TLC’s menu is anchored their fresh seafood boil and specialty sandwiches. Theirofferings are wild caught, local, and sustainably sourced when possible. The restaurant also offers a classic jukebox full of Texas favorites, high-def TVs for a great sports viewing experience, and a game room filled with classic arcade games for both the youngins, and the young at heart to enjoy.

Garbo’s Restaurant
Four Locations | Garbo’s Fresh Maine Lobster offers everything from lobster rolls to fish and chips to lump crab cakes, both in their brick and mortar restaurant and the food truck.
Clark’s Oyster Bar
1200 W 6th St. | Clark’s is has been a favorite go-to spot for Clarksville residents for years. offering oysters, a cold bar, and an array of caviar for those looking to indulge. Clark is Perla’s little brother and is owned and operated by chefs Larry McGuire & Tom Moorman.

Malibu Poke

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille
Two Locations in Austin | There’s more than meats the eye at Perry’s. The culinary team offers seafood dishes that are now available at the restaurant, including Crispy Skin Wild Red Snapper, Seared Sea Bass, Everything Crusted Ahi Tuna, Atlantic Salmon.
