Austin’s first food hall, Fareground, has announced the addition of two new restaurant partners to its diverse lineup of eateries and retailers. Freshii, a healthy fast-casual restaurant, has already opened its doors to customers, while JewBoy Sliders will be opening on Monday, April 24.

Founded by Mo Pittle, who also owns JewBoy Burgers and JewBoy Sub Shop, JewBoy Sliders offers a unique twist on classic sliders with Jewish flavors. The menu features a variety of options, including classic beef burgers, Reuben, French Dip, and Falafel sliders, and more. Additionally, JewBoy Sliders will also serve cold sliders, mini latkes and fries, border style queso, a specialty caesar salad, and other fried items. Pittle’s inspiration comes from his Jewish upbringing near the Texas/Mexican border, combined with Austin’s culture of creativity and inclusion.

Freshii

Freshii is a fast-casual restaurant offering salads, wraps, bowls, soups, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and more. The restaurant is constantly evolving its menu to make healthy food more convenient and affordable. To celebrate its opening month, Freshii will donate $1 from every order at its Fareground location to the Central Texas Food Bank.

Fareground, located in the heart of downtown Austin at 111 Congress Avenue, also features globally-inspired cuisine from Austin Rôtisserie, Little Wu, and Taco Pegaso, as well as two cocktail bars, Ellis and DRINK. Additionally, Austin Snack Co offers a variety of curated food, snacks, beverages, and health and beauty items to customers on the go.

Fareground serves as an incubator for chefs and experimental restaurant concepts, providing a space for restaurateurs to grow and scale their businesses. The food hall is a gathering space for food and culture, attracting neighbors, locals, artists, and tourists alike.

“We are thrilled to bring JewBoy Sliders to Fareground,” said owner and executive chef, Mo Pittle. “Fareground gives tastemakers like myself a brick & mortar to grow and share our creations with customers in the heart of downtown Austin, who may not otherwise have had the chance to meet us or taste what we have to offer.”
