When Texas summer hits, the only thing to help cool you down is anything frozen and National Ice Cream Day is a fun excuse to both indulge and chill out.

TRACE at W Austin Pastry Chef Wade Greenwood, created the a decadent 24K Gold Leaf encrusted vegan ice cream sundae for the holiday, which will start running on Sunday, July 21st and will be available through the end of summer. TRACE is encouraging guests to stop by with their pups on National Ice Cream Day for a free doggie ice cream.

The 24K Gold Leaf Sundae  sundae is served in a mixed chocolate bowl with fresh berries and whipped cream for $42.

As an extension of  W Austin’s PAWS (Pets are Welcome) program which ensures that pets are not only taken care of but pampered too (the hotel provides liter boxes to a grooming services, specialized menu with Nyman Ranch dog meals to special treats at turn down, and more) the team at TRACE makes  home-made doggie treats, doggie ice cream and also have a lush outdoor patio for guests animals to enjoy.  Join on National Ice Cream Day for a free cold bowl for your pup.
