Foxtail Supper Club’s Chef Page Pressley will offer a special cooking experience for Father’s Day this Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m. As part of an ongoing effort to support the Black Lives Matter movement, all Foxtail Supper Club profits from June will be donated to NAACP. In honor of Father’s Day this weekend, Chef Pressley will cook alongside his son while virtually teaching participants how to cook a special 7-dish meal. Scholz Garten is gearing up for Father’s Day Weekend with a Dad’s Day Out celebration in the Biergarten complete with backyard BBQ and beer specials, complimentary corn dog bites and all the Journey tunes your heart desires from Departure ATX playing live in the Garten from 1-3pm. ATX Cocina invites is launching its first-ever Brunch service starting on Father’s Day, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.! They’ll be offering several new plates, Bloody Mary + Maria specials, Micheladas, and other delicious cocktails on the list.
With dining rooms now open at 50% capacity, CRU is still committed to keeping tables 6 feet apart and continuing the high standards of sanitizing and safety protocols as set forth by the CDC and local authorities. That means more reservations are available for Father‘s Day Brunch! The whole family can enjoy a 3-course prix fixe menu for only $26 per person or choose items a la carte. Enjoy a bounty of offerings as well as $3 mimosas, bellinis, and ciprianis. This menu is available for dine-in or takeout. Seating is still limited so make your reservations early.
Juliet Italian Kitchen is offering dad the dinner he deserves, with an 8 oz. char-grilled New York strip with Gorgonzola au gratin potatoes and fried onion strings available for dine-in or takeout Friday, June 19 – Sunday, June 21. The steak pairs perfectly with a glass of Nebbiolo 2016 or Juliet’s Father’s Day cocktail, the Lord Capulet which features sherry aged scotch, Zacapa 23 dark rum, cynar, maple dem syrup and orange.
Launderette is offering Father‘s Day Steak Kits and Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake, available for purchase/pre-order this week. Beginning today, Launderette is taking pre-orders online or over the phone through Friday, June 19.
Intero is serving dad seasonal brunch and dinner on Sunday, June 21 from 11a.m. – 2 p.m. & 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Features include tomato braised chicken with creamy polenta, smoked pork shoulder and a 16oz dry aged wagyu ribeye with shishito gremolata—to share or not to share, dad’s choice. If your dad or husband loves to grill, don’t devoid him of that passion, but maybe grill with him in the backyard this year. Buenos Aires Café’s Grill Box is all you need for meat-loving dads, it includes a 12oz Ribeye, sausage wheel, 2 house bratwurst, black sausage, provoleta, 8oz house chimichurri, chapa brad, potato salad, and comes with grilling instructions.
Let El Chile cook for dad this year, to include a family-sized portion of Short Rib Enchiladas—braised short ribs, grilled onions, jack cheese topped with pasilla-tomatillo sauce, crema, Queso cotija and grilled avocado. Roaring Fork (Stonelake) has reopened its doors and will be open for lunch and dinner on Father’s Day (1p – 9p) and reservations can be made through Open Table are encouraged but not required, and walk-ins are welcome. The patio and dining room are both open and guests must wear a mask when not seated at their table. Curbside pick-up is available through online ordering or by calling the restaurant at (512) 342-2700. The current menu can be found HERE and happy hour is available daily from 4 – 6:30 p.m.
