The WhiskyX Brings Its Interactive Whisky Tastings, Live Music and Unparalleled Experiences to Austin
The WhiskyX– the creative, interactive multi-city event that includes premium whisky tastings, signature dishes from acclaimed chefs, lifestyle experiences and live music – makes its Texas debut on Friday, Sept.14, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Fair Market (100 E. 5thSt., Austin, TX, 78701). The exciting and lively night is packed with fun, stimulating opportunities including the chance to taste 60+ whiskies. The evening concludes with a performance by St. Paul & The Broken Bones, the 8-person Birmingham, AL, soul band that’s toured the world and has a new album Young Sick Camellia coming out Sept. 7.
In addition to discovering new whiskies and revisiting classic favorites, novices and pros alike will immerse themselves in an engaging, social atmosphere involving the greatest bourbons, scotches, American Whiskies, single malts, and ryes in the world.
While sampling whiskies and whisky cocktails – all under one roof –attendees have the opportunity to chat one-on-one with renowned and knowledgeable brand ambassadors, who can answer questions all about the history, latest innovations and the future of their respective spirits. Outside the venue, food trucks will be providing tasty, crave-worthy bites (for sale). In the mix, there are other fun things to discover. Maxim Magazine is on hand with their lounge, and guests can check out the Hoya Cigar Lounge (VIPs receive a complimentary cigar). Guys can opt for stylish free shaves and hair trims, and more surprises to be announced soon.
The WhiskyX started in Brooklyn in 2017 with the goal of offering the world’s most sought-after and innovative brown spirits and new emerging whiskies in an approachable way.
