Z Resorts’ highly anticipated Hotel ZaZa Austin is now open in downtown Austin’s Warehouse District, marrying big city sophistication with authentic Texas style creating a luxurious hotel experience. Each room is designed by Texas-based firm Design Duncan Miller Ullman, who was commissioned for Z Resorts’ Dallas and Houston locations. The new Austin hotel offers 159 King and Double King rooms, including the brand’s over-the-top, signature Magnificent Seven Suites and four Concept Suites. A collection of individually themed suites, guests can stay in a retro Palm Springs-inspired Bungalow 6 Suite with bold bursts of color, intricate patterns and mod furniture to the rock ‘n’ roll themed Back Stage Pass King Suite dressed in rock star fashion with animal prints, leather, velvet, and a vibrant mix of furnishings and art. Every room also features fine highlights, like C.O. Bigelow Lime & Coriander bath & body products and Hotel ZaZa’s signature candle-lit turndown with VitaFive Melatonin, H2O and Lindor truffles.
Dining
Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Jacob Weaver, a veteran of Austin’s Juliet and Asti Trattoria, leads the culinary program with his team, Chef de Cuisine Daniel Hatcher, former executive chef of Truluck’s Seafood Steak & Crab House in downtown Austin, and Director of Outlet Operations David Esquibel. Perfect Strangers, located on the ground level, features handcrafted cocktails, light bites and a contemporary menu of salads & soups, sandwiches and entrées. Designed with sumptuous leather booths, marble mosaic floors, locally sourced art, and outdoor seating along 4th Street, guests and locals can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
Sitting atop the seventh floor is Group Therapy, Hotel ZaZa’s craft cocktail bar, complemented by “Stage Fright,” the hotel’s live music venue. Adjacent to Group Therapy guests will find the hotel’s expansive pool deck and poolside Cabana Bar overlooking Republic Square.
