Fareground Food Hall is celebrating the holiday season with its first-annual Ginger Festival. Running November 16 through January 3, 2022, the Ginger Festival will feature a variety of ginger and turmeric-focused specials and events.
The Ginger Festival includes a series of cocktail masterclasses, limited-time dishes from each eatery within Fareground, featured ginger cocktails from Fareground’s two bars DRINK and Ellis, and special gifts from Fareground’s retail cart: Margot Blair Floral. PLAY
Fareground’s hands-on ginger cocktail masterclasses. Presented by Domaine de Canton, join in on Thursday November 18th, December 2nd and December 16th at 6:30pm at Ellis. Guests will work from their own station at fully private Bar Ellis, with all the spirits, bar tools and accoutrements to make 3 ginger-based cocktails and then apply their techniques for a fun cocktail contest. The experience includes a welcome drink, bites, 4 full sized cocktails, recipe cards and takeaways, and a special prize for the cocktail contest winner. Tickets at faregroundaustin.com/special-
