Patika

From Patika’s beginnings as a coffee cart in downtown Austin in 2010, owners Wigginton and Krupa founded their first brick and mortar at 2159 S Lamar in 2014 and grew to recently open a downtown Luncheonette at 100 Congress Ave. in July 2019, serving a daily menu of craft coffee, breakfast, and lunch offerings.

In addition to Patika’s expansion to a downtown space and catering, the company has also launched a sister brand focused on retail craft coffee roastingSuperthing Coffee Roasters. They currently source from small, sustainable farmers in Guatemala, Colombia, Ethiopia, and Kenya to obtain the best coffee beans in the world, with expanded offerings coming monthly. Superthing roasts their beans locally and supplies wholesale clients as well as restaurant accounts in the Austin area. Superthing coffee is currently served at Olamaie, Flitch Coffee, Machine Head Coffee, Primo Coffee, and Jester King Brewery.
