Local entertainment center, High 5, is slated to open their second location in early November 2018.  The new located off Anderson Lane in Central Austin, High 5 Central will offer Brunswick Sync scoring on eight vintage bowling lanes, karaoke, virtual reality and the latest in arcade games plus a private event space.

With more than 15,000 square feet and a large patio, the one-story entertainment space will offer a specialty menu and bar with customized cocktails – all curated by Chef David Hedger. Chef David brings a twist on classics and new dishes alike. By creating a robust and elevated bar and food menu, High 5 Central will be a foodie and cocktail destination in the heart of Central Austin. The newest location will continue to also carry some of High 5’s Lakeway signature items such as the house made infused cocktails and Diablos, plus Austin favorite entrees like Chicken Fried Steak and a house made Veggie Burger.

High Five Austin

High 5 Central design carries a modern and inviting feel throughout, highlighting a one-of-a-kind mural created by local and famous muralist Rory Skagen. Driven by a passion for Austin’s art scene, High 5 is excited to bring Skagen’s work into the Anderson Lane location and embrace Austin’s culture and shared love for Austin’s art. Skagen is well-known for his original “Greetings from Austin” mural downtown and the hand painted mural at the High 5 Lakeway location.

Husband-and-wife duo and High 5 Owners, Scott and Jennifer Emley, are excited to bring the High 5 vision to this part of Central Austin. “Our focus is on showcasing a place where Austinites can go for an entertainment experience,” says Jennifer Emley. “From games to the vintage bowling lanes, to the customized mural, to the food and drinks we feature on our menu, we are thrilled to be a part of Central Austin.”

Similar to the Lakeway location, High 5 Central will bring entertainment for all ages with an adult-focused atmosphere after 10pm (21 and up).
