The House of Songs X Tacodeli Songwriter Sessions is an ongoing fundraiser for the Austin-based non-profit, House of Songs. The House of Songs ATX (Player to Player) P2P Series connects Austin songwriters from different genres, backgrounds and styles to create new music together.

The Songwriter Series will be hosted at Tacodeli’s newest location on 3rd and Congress, bringing musicians from around the world to collaborate with featured Tacodeli musicians. The donation-based, intimate performances will feature cocktail samples from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, local brews by Austin Beerworks, and Tacodeli tacos will be available for purchase.

Musician Partnerships:

  • House of Songs partners one songwriter with featured Tacodeli musicians, offering a mentorship at the House of Songs space in Travis Heights.
  • The two artists spend time together, riffing ideas and music, and ultimately creating a song together, which will be performed in front of a live audience, along with solo performances.
  • The $5 suggested donation at the door will be donated to House of Songs, as well as all profits from taco sales.

The first event will feature Daniel Watters, Tacodeli team member and lead vocalist for The Watters, Kate Priestley of KP and the Boom Boom, Scott Collins and Jenny Reynolds. Attendees must RSVP for entry consideration; capacity limited on-site.

The first event will be held on July 12. Doors at 5:30 p.m. and music will play from 6-8 p.m.

Upcoming shows:

  • August 30
