The Texas craft vodka and gin distiller now has two weekend tour times available!

Dripping Springs, TX, July 2, 2015:  San Luis Spirits, makers of Dripping Springs Vodka, Dripping Springs Orange Vodka, 1876 Vodka, and Dripping Springs Artisan Gin, announced today that they will start conducting Saturday tours as of July 11, 2015, at their distillery located in the Texas Hill Country off U.S. Highway 290 West at 5330 Bell Springs Road in Dripping Springs, Texas.

skyFounded by brothers Kevin and Gary Kelleher in 2005, the family-owned San Luis Spirits was the second distiller in Texas, and the recipient of the third Distilled Spirits Permit License in the State.

San Luis Spirits, Inc. opened their doors for public tours in September of 2014, and continue to offer 3:00 p.m. tastings and tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Co-founder and CEO Kevin Kelleher said he has thoroughly enjoyed watching their visitors leave as “happy customers,” and said the addition of Saturday tours is simply a means of making the same experience available to “a wider audience.”

The newly available Saturday tours will take place at 12:30 and 2:00p.m and will be conducted by actual San Luis Spirits vodka and gin distillers who oversee the art of small batch distilling.

“I enjoy getting to share our process and small batch philosophy with visitors,” said Rikk Munroe, the distillery’s Production Manager. “It is great to meet our customers face to face and give them a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look into how Dripping Springs Vodka and Dripping Springs Gin is made.”

Perhaps the best known of the four San Luis craft spirits, Dripping Springs Vodka is the only American vodka to win the Gold Best in Class and the prestigious Vodka Purity Trophy at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.

“In a marketing context today the word ‘craft’ is thrown around loosely. While on the tour, people will see the secret to our unique products made in 50-gallon batches with our proprietary copper pot stills,” said Thomas Kingsley, National Sales Director for the distillery. “They will go away with a better understanding of why our customers are so loyal to the brands.”

Any visitors wanting to book a Saturday tour are asked to please purchase their tickets in advance atwww.drippingspringsvodka.com. Tickets cost $10.00 each, and include a distillery tour, tasting, and souvenir tasting glass. Bottles and merchandise may also be purchased on site. Tours will be limited to a 12 person maximum per tour. For special occasions or larger groups please contact the distillery directly at (512) 858-1199.

All San Luis distilled spirits are non-GMO, gluten free, and certified Kosher by the Houston Kashruth Association.
