Freedmen’s, Austin’s coolest laid-back whiskey bar and BBQ joint, is turning five years old in December.  They’ll be celebrating with a Southern-style Whiskey and Pig Roast in their popular beer garden on December 15, with guest receiving a plate featuring half a pound of succulent pig, collard greens, jalapeño cheddar grits, black-eyed peas, and a buttermilk biscuit.

The carving promptly begins at 6:30 p.m. and seats are $25 per person. Purchase tickets here www.eventbrite.com/e/5th-birthday-party-pig-roast-tickets-39938848170.
