Vince Young Steakhouse has officially announced the closure of its downtown Austin location.
In a statement shared by the restaurant, the team expressed gratitude to the city and its guests for years of support, calling Austin “a place that embraced us from day one” and thanking diners for making the restaurant part of so many celebrations, business milestones, and memorable nights downtown.
“Serving the Austin community has been an incredible honor,” the statement reads. “We are deeply thankful to our loyal guests, our dedicated staff, and everyone who walked through our doors over the years.”
The announcement also acknowledged the staff who helped build the restaurant’s reputation, noting that the closure was not a reflection of the team’s commitment or hospitality, but rather a business decision amid changing circumstances.
At this time, no relocation plans or future reopening announcements have been made. The downtown closure appears to mark a full farewell to the space.
