In what’s known to be 16 times bigger than a regular Cheez-It cracker, Taco Bell has unleashed their newest, and perhaps wildest creations in their history, with their all new Taco Bell Big Cheez-It Tostada and Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme.

For $2.49, the new tostada is loaded with seasoned beef, reduced-fat sour cream, fresh diced tomatoes, crisp lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese on top of an oversized Cheez-It cracker. For $4.29, the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme comes with seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, reduced-fat sour cream and diced tomatoes layered on a giant Cheez-It, all wrapped inside a tortilla then grilled.

Unfortunately, Taco Bell is test marketing them in the Irvine, California market so the rest of the country will have to wait to get their hands on these new menu items for several weeks or so.

Cheeze-it has been one of the country’s most popular over-the-counter snack for more than 20 years, so naturally when the news broke on the new items, the internet and social media has been set a blaze.  Posts from the few lucky Taco Bell fans that have been able to try the new items have been whetting many appetites, for what could be this year’s trend of buzz-worthy fast food offerings, similar to 2019 when Popeye’s launched their Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

Taco Bell isn’t new to pulling these collaboration stunts to offer a menu item made of a popular snack. In 2012, they launched the Doritos Locos Taco, which is a popular hit with Taco Bell fans and remains on the menu today. Although in 2014 they launched the Beefy Frito Burrito which wasn’t quite as popular and has since been discontinued. Most recently the return of the fan-favorite Mexican Pizza was placed back on to the menu since it was removed in 2020, mostly in part from the help Doja Cat.
