The owners of District Kitchen + Cocktails are thrilled to announce the opening of their latest restaurant concept, Oasthouse Gastropub, on Tuesday, November 17. Located at 8300 North FM 620, Oasthouse will serve elevated pub fare, over 21 beers on tap and craft cocktails in its modern farmhouse space.

 

“My brother and I have been eager to start a new concept together and we’re looking forward to joining the northwest Austin community,” said Executive Chef/Owner of Oasthouse Gastropub, Amir Hajimaleki. “Guests can look forward to our seasonal spin on traditional gastropub fare with a great selection of cocktails and local beers.”

 

Under the direction of Executive Chef and Owner Amir Hajimaleki and his brother Ali, Oasthouse’s menu will offer diners traditional German pub fare with a Texas twist seven days a week for lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch. Menu highlights include: Bangers & Mash with English peas, pickled onions, green tomatoes and a bucket head ipa glaze; the Farmhouse Pub Burger, featuring wood fired grass fed beef, Guinness cheddar, sunny duck egg, brown ale bacon mustardo and a brioche bun, and the Texas Shepherd’s Pie with prime tenderloin, carrots, green peas, onions, a 512 pecan porter braise and sweet potato mash. Guests can look forward to seasonal menus utilizing surrounding farms for dishes as well as cocktails.

 

The bar program features a unique spirits menu, as well as an international wine list and 21 beers on tap. The seasonally-driven cocktail menu includes classic libations such the Old Fashioned and Manhattan, as well as original creations like the Beerhound with 4th Rap Long Walk Grapefruit IPA, rosemary simply syrup and lemon juice, and the Oasthouse 75 with mandoria grappa, lemon juice, grenadine and sparking rose. Happy hour is held daily from 4-7 p.m. and during the last two hours of operation in the restaurant’s bar and patio areas.

 

The restaurant’s design is the epitome of old meets new. Reclaimed wood and rustic art pieces provide an authentic Oasthouse feel, while industrial metal detailing and modern a color palate modernize the space. In addition to the main dining room, the restaurant features an expansive bar area, and indoor and outdoor patios, which can be reserved for private parties and events.
