Stiles Switch BBQ
Stiles Switch is rolling out their house made Smoked HOT DOGS for the entire month of July as the featured Sausage of the Month! Starting July 1st, guests can try them in two ways: The TRADITIONAL: Mustard, Ketchup, & Pickle Relish or THE CHILI CHEESE DOG: House made Chili con Carne, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, diced onion, & pickled jalapeño. La Barbecue
Celebrate a July 4th’s hot dog tradition a day early at La Barbecue. They’re bringing back their infamous Red Rocket Hot Dog for one day only, on Sunday July 3rd.
Zanzibar
Guests of the hotel or Zanzibar will have the best views of the firework show from either their lush tropical rooftop terrace or from their Corner Guest Rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. The 31-story stylishly-designed tower fits seamlessly into the Austin skyline and is steps away from the most popular downtown tourist attractions, bars, and restaurants. Guest rooms start on level seven to maximize views of Lady Bird Lake, the University of Texas campus, the city skyline, and in the distance, Texas Hill Country.
Hotel Van Zandt
What better place to celebrate the 4th of July than at the iconic Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt in the heart of Downtown Austin? The hotel is gearing up for an epic weekend aptly titled “Red, White and Blues.” Hotel guests and Geraldine’s diners will be able to join the festivities on the pool deck free of charge. Outside guest who wish to view the fireworks show at this venue can purchase tickets for $50 through ResortPass. The City of Austin fireworks are scheduled to go off at approximately 9:30 p.m. on the Fourth of July.
Carpenter’s Hall
Carpenter’s BBQ Pool Party – Let’s kick it old-school and kick off Summer with a classic backyard barbecue. We’ll have tunes, grilled eats, two-stepping, and poolside cocktails. Tickets include a BBQ plate from Carpenters Hall, pool access, entertainment, and dang good vibes along with musical Entertainment from Aaron Stephens.
Lutie’s Garden with LeRoy & Lewis
Independence Day Garden BBQ – in collaboration with “new-school bbq” spot LeRoy and Lewis on Sunday, July 3 at the sunken gardens at Commodore Perry Estate. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of the pitmasters’ famous smoked meats along with tasty sides and desserts from the Lutie’s Executive Chef Bradley Nicholson and Executive Pastry Chef Susana Querejazu. In the evening, Lutie’s will transition to an after hours cocktail party, with specialty cocktails at the bar and an all-vinyl DJ set by Clemente Castillo. Tickets are $100 per person and are now available online. Tickets include food and two drink tickets, along with access to all activities during the celebration. Additional drink tickets can be purchased onsite.
Willie Nelson’s 4th Of July Picnic
Austin’s beloved icon Willie Nelson, who created this annual event in 1972, is bringing a star-studded lineup to Q2 Stadium, home of Austin FC for his annual picnic and fireworks show. The event will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Tyler Childers, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Charley Crockett, Allison Russell, Particle Kid, Steve Earle & the Dukes, and Asleep at the Wheel.
Colton House
Join Colton House Hotel for their annual 4th of July Patio Bash! The celebration takes place on the patio at Simona’s at Colton House from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for kids 10 and under; the event is free to hotel guests staying for two nights. Tickets include two complimentary drinks, traditional 4th of July fare provided by Hank’s Austin, frozen treats, lawn games, and fireworks viewing from the rooftop deck. Gelato Paradiso
Just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, Gelato Paradiso is launching their collaboration with Austinites 101. The two teams worked together to create the new Peach Bellini Sorbet and the Peaches and Cream Gelato, inspired by Fredericksburg peaches. These flavors will be available throughout the entire month of July and are available in a cup or a cone.
Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa
Star-Spangled VIP package – With the Fourth of July right around the corner guests can book the Star-Spangled VIP package. Celebrate the 4th of July with Dos Olivos Market at any of their four locations across Texas (Buda, Wimberley, Dripping Springs and Harlingen). The Wimberley staff will participate in the downtown parade starting at 10 a.m. At the market, The Duke will be performing live music from 1-4 p.m. and Bear King Brewery will be on-site. Hill Country Galleria
Independence Day Festival – This family-friendly event invites guests to celebrate America’s freedom and enjoy live music by beloved bands and artists like Two Tons of Steel, Southern Angels, Rock Bottom String Band, Robin Mordecai, and The Saddle Sores, plus kids’ rides, water games and activities, more than 60 arts vendors spread throughout the property, festival treat vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show to end the evening. Guests are also welcome to shop at resident retailers, dine in or order from the Galleria’s restaurant and food options, and are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music beginning at 4 p.m. on the Central Plaza lawn. Pets are welcome, and admission and parking are free.
Hyatt Lost Pines Resort
Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa will provide several family activities, from patriotic arts and crafts to nightly movies on the lawn, complete with grand fireworks display to celebrate the holiday. The resort’s firework display will take place on Monday, July 4 at 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy complimentary firecracker popcorn. Additionally, patriotic ice-cream sandwiches will be available for $1, as well as a firework show fun bucket for $15 and a commemorative tie dye t-shirt for $20.
