Espresso Martinis are making a serious comeback, and Velouria’s Frozen Espresso Martini is sure to be the cocktail of the season. The South Congress bar makes their signature version with espresso from Austin Roasting Company.
Afternoon and evening offerings at the bar showcases their classic cocktails like Negronis, Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, Bee Knees, Martinis and others as well as craft beer, and wine. The menu will also offer frozen cocktails like frozen Espresso Martinis and Mai Tais. Evening eats will be a variety of bar snacks, and cheese and charcuterie boards.
Velouria’s normal business hours will be 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily following a soft open the week of April 13-20. Velouria is located on the northwest corner of the Davis SoCo Apartments at 3801 S Congress Ave in Suite 116. Plenty of free parking is available for guests in street spots on Congress, in the retail spaces provided in the Davis Soco lots behind the building and below ground in the parking garage that conveniently exits right on to Velouria’s patio.
