Uncle Nicky’s, a casual Northern Italian cafe and bar in Hyde Park, hosts their weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The brunch menu offerings include antipasti, entrees, and special brunch cocktails.
Food
The menu includes lighter and shareable items, such as yogurt parfait with fresh berries, overnight oats, griddled peaches with ricotta and crispy ham, mini ricotta pancakes, and a focaccia pizza with meatballs. Entrees focus on egg dishes, including the Eggs Dominico with poached eggs, focaccia, prosciutto cotto, fontina hollandaise; truffled eggs with a coddled egg, truffle cream, served with toasted focaccia for dipping; and an Italian omelet made with prosciutto, salami, and fontina cheese.
Other items on the menu include the Breakfast Italiano with Italian sausage, two fried eggs served with toasted focaccia; and the hot mortadella sandwich with a sunny egg, provolone, griddled onions, pepperoncini, and Duke’s mayo. The chilled shrimp with basil pesto and the Wagyu beef carpaccio from the restaurant’s popular all-day menu will also be available during brunch.
Drinks
Uncle Nicky’s brunch cocktails include traditional bellinis and mimosas, as well as the playful Saturday Morning ‘Toons cocktail made with Red Handed Bourbon, Cinnamon Toast Crunch-infused cream, Demerara, and Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters.
