Some of my favorite menu items are off their seasonal menu. The seasonal menu is largely farm-to-table sourcing from Texas farms and ranches. The menu is primarily broken down by “raw”, “land”, “sea” and they offer upscale bar menu items like pork belly tavern tacos during happy hour.
Their tender short rib sliders are topped with house-made horseradish aioli and fresh arugula and served with the best fork & knife onion ring I have ever tasted.
The seasonal ceviche is my all time favorite menu item! The refreshing ceviche has bright citrus flavors and several warm versus cool components. The ceviche consists of tender pieces of mildly sweet marinated drum, creamy avocado, fresh micro greens a light spicy sauce and an habanero salt rim served with delicious lightly seasoned tortilla chips.
The heirloom Caprese tomato salad with farm-fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, basil pesto drizzled with aged balsamic & evoo topped with pine nuts is another exceptional menu item. I love pairing this salad with one of their incredible wines by the glass.
The stuffed Lockhart quail breast is incredibly decadent. The locally sourced quail is wrapped in flavorful applewood bacon, stuffed with rich peppered cream cheese and drizzled with a spicy red pepper jelly. As you can see they pride themselves in beautifully presented quality cuisine.
