Wine & Food Foundation’s 39th Annual Rare & Fine Wine Auction Gala
The Wine & Food Foundation has announced Eric Jensen, celebrated winemaker and founder of Booker Vineyard, as the Featured Winemaker for the 39th Annual Rare & Fine Wine Auction Gala. The highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, November 8, at the JW Marriott in downtown Austin.
A cornerstone of Austin’s philanthropic food and wine calendar, the Rare & Fine Wine Auction Gala is the Wine & Food Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser. The evening pairs world-class wines with a chef-driven dinner and a high-energy live auction that raises critical funds for local organizations combating food insecurity and supporting the hospitality industry.
Jensen, known for his Rhône-style wines and organic farming practices, brings decades of experience and passion to the spotlight. As founder of Booker Vineyard, My Favorite Neighbor, and Harvey & Harriet Wine, he has played a leading role in shaping the Paso Robles wine region while advocating for sustainable viticulture.
“We are honored to have Eric Jensen join us,” said WFF Executive Director Denise Silverman. “His dedication to thoughtful farming and world-class winemaking aligns beautifully with our values.”
Proceeds from the gala will support local nonprofits including the Sustainable Food Center, Caritas of Austin, Keep Austin Fed, and Sunday Lunchbox, along with educational scholarships for Austin’s hospitality professionals.
“It’s exciting to be welcomed by a community that shares my passion for wine and giving back,” Jensen said.
Registration opens in May, with early access for Wine & Food Foundation members. For tickets, membership, or more details, visit winefoodfoundation.org.
