Amid to the world wide emergency response to the COVID-19 virus, every restaurant, bar and movie theater has been ordered closed to in-house dining.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently issued a brand new waiver that will allow Austin bars and restaurants to offer the delivery of alcohol, wine, beer and cocktail beverages to be ordered with the purchase of food orders.

The curbside menu at Fonda San Miguel includes signature dishes like the Calabacitas Rellenas and the Cochinita Pibil, as well as the FSM Margarita Kit (serves 6) for $35 which includes a 375ml bottle of Dulce Vida Silver, Fonda margarita mix, chips and salsa. The curbside menu is offered from 3-7pm everyday,.

Treaty Oak Whiskey and Waterloo Gin are offering online spirits ordering and delivery (for those 21+). The menu will consist of BBQ, take-and-bake meals and a wide range of beers, wines and cocktail kits. To order, consumers can download the Toast Takeout App, set up a profile and search for Treaty Oak Distilling.  To-go orders (food and beverages) can be delivered to guests’ vehicles, or they can come to the open-air Rickhouse to pick their orders up. Desert Door Distillery

Desert Door has added making hand sanitizer produced according to World Health Organization (WHO) and FDA standards to part for their daily activities as the world faces the uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis. The Driftwood, Texas, sotol distillery began production this week and will have over 20,000 8 oz bottles free of charge to the public soon. The hand sanitizer is made with 80% alcohol as the active ingredient.

Fall Creek Vineyards

To continue to provide Texans with the wine they love, Fall Creek Vineyards is offering specials for “Keep Sipping with Free Shipping” (6-btl min) for online shopping to have wine delivered directly to your door and Curb-side Pick-up (2 bottle minimum)  at Fall Creek Vineyards Driftwood across from the Salt Lick, and the winery in Tow, Texas.

Slate Mill Wine Collective offering home delivery on Mondays and Thursdays with a minimum order of $50.
