Known for delivering fantastic cocktails made with fresh juices and premium spirits, Mother’s Ruin promises the quality of more pretentious cocktail bars but with a faster and more fun approach. With a creative yet streamlined menu of upscale bar food served daily from opening until the last call at 2 a.m., this bar is sure to become a cornerstone of the community.
An Exciting Addition to East 6th Street

A Menu to Delight
Mother’s Ruin will feature a rotating beverage menu with something for everyone. Whether you prefer a beer and a shot or a mezcal negroni, their cocktail menu will include a couple of mainstays and daily rotating specials like the Slushy du Jour. Expect irreverent and creative cocktail names that reflect the bar’s boundary-pushing spirit. In addition to cocktails, Mother’s Ruin will also offer a wide selection of beer, wine, and shots.
The upscale bar menu is designed to punch above its weight class with all-day offerings such as French Onion Soup Grilled Cheese, Mother’s Smashburger, Thai Brussels Sprouts, and more. Served until the last call around 2:00 a.m., this menu is perfect for late-night cravings. In the weeks following the opening, Mother’s Ruin Austin plans to launch a brunch menu featuring dishes like Cholula Honey Fried Chicken & Waffles.
