Due to the rise in COVID-19 infections in Texas, this year’s 4th of July festivities will be without a big fireworks celebration downtown. Even though we can’t celebrate Independence Day in public with all of our friends and fellow Austinites, many local restaurants are promoting social distancing with a few delicious family packs you may enjoy at home.

This Saturday, Scholz is hosting a 4th of July Backyard BBQ celebration in the Biergarten complete with hot dogs, burgers, mini corn dogs, and rib sliders. The celebration will also offer free popsicles for kids and $3 Tallboys of Lone Star.
