Visionary local restaurateur Shawn Cirkiel has opened his modern grab-and-go juice bar to Central Austin with the opening of the second location of Jugo.  The sleek North Lamar offers fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, Cuvée Cold Brew, and a rotating selection of cold brew green teas on tap.  They also chef-crafted bites, from packaged to-go snacks and protein packs to salads, wraps, and entrées.

Cirkiel is a pioneer of the local farm-to-table movement, and he has embraced that same mindset at Jugo, where the emphasis is on “farm to blender.” Jugo is committed to working with local farms and purveyors to ensure it uses only the best and freshest ingredients possible.

Enjoy handpicked seasonal juice options such as beet, carrot, ginger, and lemon; cucumber, celery, kale, parsley, and lemon; and apple, spinach, and ginger.  Also go for a few add-ins such as strawberry, banana, and whey or blueberry, kale, honey, and yogurt—include everything from coconut oil and maca to collagen and hemp protein.

Food offerings include snacks such as avocado deviled egg and spring roll; vegetables like roasted squash and Israeli couscous; and entrées including baked Alaskan salmon, grilled rosemary chicken breast, and beef bone broth.

Jugo North Lamar is located at 4200 N. Lamar Blvd.
