On February 11, Antonelli’s Cheese Co. turns 9 years old.  and they’ll be celebrating in style by making it rain with free cheese across Austin with #FreeCheeseWeek.  This year they’ll have more participating restaurants than ever while offering extra events and tastings, including the launch of a few new classes. (Fondue anyone?!)
Don’t forget to drop by their shop, where they’ll be giving out complimentary samples of a specialty cheese made exclusively for Anotelli’s by local producer CKC Farms.  With Austin’s continued support in the local market, hundreds of artisanal producers are able to help Antonelli’s accomplish their mission to #DoGoodEatGood.

FREE CHEESE WEEK

Did you know Antonelli’s sources their cheese, cured meats, and pairings for 150+ chefs, restaurants, and industry folk in Central Texas? From Austin to San Antonio to Waco to the Hill Country, they love working with their partners. In appreciation to some of them and cheese lovers in the Austin area, they’re giving out free cheese! The schedule follows. Note that each restaurant will start at 5pm (or earliest open time after that) and will only give one free cheese plate per table.
Mon 2/4 – Revue at The Fairmont, Chez Zee, School House Pub, Central Standard
Tues 2/5 – Winebelly, Blackstar Coop, La Volpe, Oasthouse

ANNIVERSARY WEEK EVENTS

Antonellis hosts over 200 classes and private tasting events each year in our 110-year old Cheese House. Named “one of the best things to do in Austin,” our classes are a great way to learn about cheese, find new favorites, make some friends, and just kick back, relax, and enjoy life for a bit. For our anniversary week, we’re including some of our most popular classes, as well as debuting a few new ones. And prepare yourself – you’ll enjoy over a half pound of cheese in class, plus pairings! Check out our website for times, descriptions, and ticket purchasing info.
