Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, one of the state’s leading resorts located right outside Austin, announces new food and beverage options for guests.  Under the direction of Executive Chef Frank Majowicz, the resort introduces Birdie’s Burger Bar, River Dogs, and the Smokin’ Food Truck.

Located next to the pro shop at the resort’s Wolfdancer Golf Club, Birdie’s Burger Bar features “Build Your Own” burgers.  Guests can select from an angus beef burger, a turkey burger, or The Beyond Burger veggie option along with their preference of bun and toppings ranging from blue cheese and avocado to caramelized onions, cremini mushrooms, and applewood-smoked bacon.  The restaurant’s menu also includes a variety of appetizers, salads, and sandwich options including a rotisserie chicken panini, an ahi tuna sandwich, and many others.

The resort’s new Smokin’ Food Truck is nestled among the giant pecan trees next to the Crooked River Water Park where guests can enjoy delicious barbecue at the shaded picnic tables.  The food truck’s menu features Texas-style barbecue options including house-smoked brisket and turkey to pulled pork and locally-sourced sausage selections, with sides including potato salad, ranch-style beans, roasted kernel corn, and coleslaw.  The food truck also provides dining options for children including smoked sausage on a stick, chicken strips, cheese quesadillas and three oven baked pizza options.

The new Riverdogs hot dog stand is located in the resort’s Crooked River Water Park.  Its menu features gourmet hot dog with a variety of topping selections, as well as a Texas Chili Dog topped with chili, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños.  The hot dog stand also features shaved ice with flavor options ranging from mango and pineapple to cherry and orange.

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa’s new dining options complement the resort’s standing restaurants including its casual pub-style restaurant Shellers Barrelhouse Bar, its upscale signature steak house Stories, the Firewheel Café, and poolside restaurant Old Buck’s Place.
