Geraldine’s to Host ATX6 Tour Kickoff Show

Geraldine’s is thrilled to host the first stop of the ATX6 Tour Kickoff on Saturday, August 20. Starting at 8 p.m., three artists from the 2016 Project ATX6, Jai Malano, Elijah Ford and Star Parks, will take the stage at Geraldine’s to showcase a taste of undeniable talent that will be sure to captivate international audiences later this year.

Guests dining at Geraldine’s will have the chance to indulge in the sounds provided by the performers as well as donate to the project. The lineup is as follows:

• 8 p.m. – Elijah Ford
• 9 p.m. – Star Parks
• 10 p.m. – Jai Malano

Established in 2014, Project ATX6 is a festival road show and export project that selects six of Austin’s emerging musicians and sends them to perform at international music festivals each year. The project spotlights the incredible demand for Austin music around the world. This year, Project ATX6 will be sending the musicians to Austin Week in Angers, France, Indie Week in Manchester, England and Indie Week in Toronto, Canada. The performances will be filmed and included in a six part documentary series. The project’s first effort, Season One, will air on the PBS affiliated channel, KLRU, iTunes and other online distributors later this summer.
