Campfire Gathering Music Festival has announced their culinary lineup, which will feature an exciting and wide variety of food and beverage options with an emphasis on Texas-inspired dishes and classic camp favorites at Camp Lucy, March 16 – 17th.  The menu is designed by the resort’s very own Executive Chef Joe Gentempo, offering several delectable passed bites, mouthwatering grill options, tasty late-night snacks, and more—all of which will be complimentary to attendees throughout the event. The festival’s home at Camp Lucy is also home to the award-winning Tillie’s, which will be open during their usual business hours to guests should they opt to dine-in.

On Day ONE, attendees will be greeted with a special wine tasting from Ron Yates Wine, a sister winery to the award-winning Spicewood Vineyards and recently named as Tasting Table’s “Best New Wineries in the US.” Heavy passed bites, including fried green tomatoes, empanadas, and more, a charcuterie grazing table filled with domestic and imported cheeses, cured meats, and fresh seasonal fruits, as well as a crostini bar will also be available to guests as they arrive on Monday afternoon, along with the official “Lighting of the Campfire” with a complimentary champagne toast before music performances kick off from acts.

Shortly after the music begins around noon on Tuesday, Day TWO attendees will be treated to a classic Campfire Cookout, where they will have the opportunity to enjoy elevated camp favorites, including a hotdog and hamburger bar as well as Campfire’s own chili and Frito pies. In the early evening, heavy passed bites will again be available, including braised short ribs, pork potstickers, shrimp & grits, bacon-wrapped quail bites, shrimp and avocado ceviche, ancho pork tostadas, plus a salsa, queso, and guacamole bar. Late-night snacks on Tuesday, such as corn s’mores, bacon-wrapped jalapenos, cheese fritters, and more will be offered as guests enjoy close-out performances from festival headliners inside a spacious Honkytonk Dance Hall nestled above the historic Onion Creek.

The festival will also have special food programming that is exclusive to overnight lodging guests.  On Monday evening, those staying overnight are invited to attend a Founder’s Dinner at Tillie’s, a gourmet, four-course, seated dinner offering a menu curated by Chef Gentempo and the culinary team from Tillie’s. A special Brunch & Jam menu will be available on Tuesday morning for overnight guests as well, including surprise sets from performing music artists, along with an omelet bar, breakfast taco bar, yogurt, berry, and granola bar, and drink offerings, including a juice and coffee bar. Guests who are departing on Wednesday morning will have the option to attend a themed Gospel Brunch featuring a special performance from Texas-based gospel and soul outfit The New Soul Invaders.
