Netflix and Binge – 5 Best Shows to Watch When You’re Hungry

If you find yourself trapped in the house for a weekend or Spring Break (thanks Coronavirus) and you’re in the mood to catch up on a few tasteful shows worthy of binge watching during your hibernation, we’ve selected our favorite foodie shows that left us with a huge appetite!

 

The Chef Show

Chef Roy Choi worked on the 2014 movie “Chef,” which starred Jon Favreau, who also wrote and directed the flick. Choi and Favreau reunite for this cooking travelogue series. The friends travel to different locales around the world and celebrate different flavors, cultures and people. They experiment with their favorite recipes and techniques, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the entertainment and culinary industries. Favreau and Choi not only embrace their passion for food, but they also showcase their love of bringing people together for a delicious meal. On the journey, the duo shares a meal with members of the “Avengers” cast in Atlanta and smokes brisket in Texas with renowned pitmaster Aaron Franklin.

 

 

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Chef David Chang is taking his insatiable curiosity about food, culture and identity on the road, with A-list stars along for the ride. In Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, David travels around the world with Seth Rogen, Chrissy Teigen, Lena Waithe and Kate McKinnon as they dive into different cultures, eat new food and share new experiences.

 

 

Ugly Delicious

Ugly Delicious is back for a second season! The critically-acclaimed Netflix Original Documentary series from James Beard Award-Winning Chef David Chang and Academy Award-Winner Morgan Neville returns on March 6th. Special guests include Nick Kroll, Aziz Ansari, Padma Lakshmi, food writers Helen Rosner and Chris Ying, Danny McBride, Bill Simmons, and Dave Choe.

 

 

Flavorful Origins

Flavorful Origins is a twenty-part Mandarin-language television documentary series, exploring culinary secrets of China and the various cooking techniques and cuisines with native Asian ingredients from the Chaoshan and Yunnan regions.
