In anticipation of the Big Game, Super Bowl Sunday is the first day of the year where we really get to pig out on some of the most party-worthy snacks. Whether you’re in it for the game, the halftime show or the puppy bowl, several Austin restaurants, bars, and cafes are offering fun ways to celebrate the Super Bowl stress-free while stuffing your face with a few tasty options.

Two Locations in Austin | Each COVER 3 location boasts enough TV’s that guests will always have multiple options regarding which TV near their table is the most comfortable for their viewing pleasure with upscale food, craft cocktails, and high-end wines.  Enjoy a feast for two professional linemen for $49.95, with a menu featuring Buffalo wings, green chili nachos, chipotle ranch fried pickles and much more.

 

Punch Bowl Social

Two Locations in Austin | Punch Bowl Social is the perfect spot to catch a game. With countless TVs and three different bar areas to choose from, bring the whole gang.  Start with their traditional or cilantro wings with house-made buttermilk dressing.  Then huddle up with the Sriracha Peanut Fries with hoisin sauce, garlic mayo and pickled chilies.  To drink, score a bowl of The King’s Cup punch (rum, pineapple-fennel shrub, white pear Fuji apple tea, and lime juice).

 

Little Woodrow’s

Five Locations in Austin | What goes better with football than beer?  Grab your friends and head over to Little Woodrow’s to catch all the action of Super Sunday in a laid-back atmosphere. They’ll have the Super Bowl on in high-definition on multiple TVs. Yard Bar

Yard Bar will host their annual Puppy Bowl with Austin Humane Society on Saturday, Feb 12th, at 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. starting with the 4th Annual Tailgate Food Competition. Local restaurants will go head-to-head for the 2022 title of Best Tailgating Treat. Purchase your tailgate tasting ticket for $10, enjoy your bites and cast your vote for the winner. Yard Bar will be serving Rescue Me’s (featuring Tito’s) and New Belgium Voodoo Ranger beers.

 

Mean Eyed Cat

1621 W 5th St. | Mean Eyed Cat is unabashedly what Texas’ capital city is all about, and has been a staple of local life ever since 2004. Featuring an excellent draft selection of local and craft beers, in addition to a full bar and creative cocktail list, patrons enjoy the interior rooms, the open wooden patio, the 300+ year old Texas Live Oak tree and D0-Rite BBQ is available with an assortment of delicious sides.

 

W Austin

200 Lavaca St | Watch the Super Bowl in W’s Living Room Bar featuring all-day happy hour and numerous screens to view the game. Bring your crew and reserve the “Owner’s Box” Screen Porch which includes a private viewing experience with a 100-inch screen.

 

Lavaca Street Bar

Three Locations in Austin | Lavaca Street Bar is a staple of the established area of downtown Austin serving beer and sports 7 days a week.  They recently opened a new location in The Domain’s hottest expansion, Rock Rose, with two beautiful patio areas.

 

Star Bar

Meanwhile Brewing

The big game will be on display in two big ways: a 16 ft projector screen on the stage and 40 ft blowup screen on the pitch, presented by Rocket Cinema. Special game day menus will be provided by Meanwhile’s resident food trucks, like Dough BoysDistant Relatives, Pueblo Viejo, and Bésame. This is a FREE event, and an RSVP does NOT guarantee your seating. All seating is first-come, first-served. Arrive early to find your favorite spot.

 

Pluckers Wing Bar

Plucker’s is gearing up for the 2022 Super Bowl weekend by taking take-out pre-orders.  Fans can place pre-orders from the entire Pluckers menu for Game Day at ALL Texas locations! Orders will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be taken online at order.pluckers.com.

Aba

(Take out) For those looking to serve a step-up from the typical Super Bowl snacks, Aba has you covered. From fan favorites like Kebabs, Smoky Garlic Hummus, Whipped Feta and Muhammara Spread, Sommelier-Selected bottles of wine, and more, Aba is your one-stop-shop for an elevated Super Bowl watch party. Orders are available online for both pick-up and delivery through Aba Austin. 

No matter which team you’re rooting for, everyone can agree that Aba’s Groupies are the real winners. Alongside Aba’s mezze spreads, the large-batch Groupies make the perfect meal to share with friends during the big game. Served in elegant watering cans, the cocktails are designed to be shared by 4 to 5 people.

 

Henbit

(Take out) Super Bowl snacks, featuring burgers, chicken sandwiches and Monster Cookies, Henbit’s full catering menu can be found here. Henbit requires 24 hours notice for all catering orders. TLV

(Take out) Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner, and we’ve got your snacks covered. Located in the Fareground food hall downtown, TLV features a menu that is focused on Israeli street food. The catering menu includes plates with Pita including the Classic Hummus, Chicken Hawaiej Hummus, and Roasted Cauliflower as well as Platters including the Falafel and Schnitzel platter. Loro

2115 S Lamar Blvd | (Take out) In Celebration of Super Bowl LVI, Loro will offer a to-go only meal pack for pick-up. The $99 package feeds four to six and includes multiple items like Wontons Chips and Dip, Full Rack of Smoked Baby Back Duroc Ribs, Whole Smoked Sake Can Chicken, Thai Style Sausages, Crunchy Cabbage Salad with Cashew-Ginger Vinaigrette, and Oak Grilled Zucchini. Online pre-orders begin January 26th and run through February 11. Package pick-up will take place Sunday, February 13 starting at 11:30 am.

 

Fresa’s

Fresa’s S. 1st | (Dine-in) Fans can join Fresa’s on South First for their Super Bowl watch party from 4-10 p.m, with a menu that offers delicious Super Bowl Snacks and a 115’’ LED Video Wall outside on the patio. Patrons looking to dine inside are also covered, with multiple TVs screening the game in the dining room. Seating is first-come, first-serve.

(Take out) Become the MVP with Fresa’s Super Bowl Snacks. Fresa’s Super Bowl Platter includes a range of delicious finger foods, from wood-grilled wings, jalapeño poppers, chicken flautas, jicama, and carrots and celery with poblano ranch. Individual snacks are also available for purchase, including wood-grilled wings, poblano spinach dip, jalapeño poppers, and the Siete Layer Dip. Large-batch classics such as Fresa’s queso, guacamole, and even the house margarita kit are available for pick-up. Fresa’s Super Bowl snacks are available for online pre-order starting Tuesday, February 1, as well as same-day pick up on Sunday, February 13 from 11 a.m. until sell-out at both the South First and 9th & Lamar locations. LeRoy & Lewis

121 Pickle Rd. | Be the hero your party always wanted but didn’t know it needed by bringing a Frito Pie Kit from LeRoy and Lewis.  Frito Pie Kits includes all the Frito Pie fixins: one quart of chili, Fritos, cheese, onions, jalapeños, $28, (feeds 8-10 people).  You can also order Whole Akaushi Briskets from Beeman Family Ranch, for $30/lb and a dozen crispy Barbacoa Tacos -with 44 Farms Barbacoa, w/ onion, queso fresco, jalapeño salsa and cilantro.

 

Little Ola’s

Home Slice Pizza is now accepting preorders for the big game!  Visit homeslicepizza.com/large-orders to place large or bulk orders now. Home Slice will begin accepting advanced orders for gameday through Chownow, an online ordering app.

 

Garbo’s Fresh Maine Lobster

All month long, Garbo’s is offering DIY Super Bowl Maine Lobster Roll Kits available online, for takeout. Garbo’s collaboration with Via 313 is back during the month of February, offering fans a chance to enjoy Garbo’s Queen Lobster Pizza. This glorious pizza fit for royalty is topped with bacon, cheese, arugula, fresh butter-poached lobster, and Garbo’s house seasoning. These Lobster Queens will only be available at the following Via 313 brick and mortar locations: East Side, Oak Hill, and North Campus.

 

Dreamland

Dripping Springs – Dreamland in Dripping Springs is the perfect place to watch the big game, with loads to do for both avid football fans and casual spectators alike. The 64-acre outdoor entertainment, recreation, and arts venue will be screening the big game at their outdoor amphitheater, and offering the following cocktail specials alongside their expansive beer garden and 40 wine varietals.

 

Industry Restaurant

San Marcos – Industry in San Marcos will show the big game on their 15-foot projector screen for ultimate football watching experience, along with live music from 2-5 pm.

 

Cork & Barrel

Round Rock – The Irish pub and microbrewery is celebrating the Big Game with drink specials starting at the game kick-off with $4 draft beer pints and $5 BMF Wings as an add-on with any entree from 5:30 p.m. until close.

The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion. The ceremony was a spectacle, kicking off with an iconic Mardi Gras float featuring Caesar and his court, and a dazzling firework show that lit up the New Orleans sky. The second-line band then led us revelers into the resort’s elegant center bar, Octavia, where we indulged in a “Taste of Caesars New Orleans.” Each bite from the six on-property restaurants was a delightful journey, capturing the essence of New Orleans’ rich culinary scene. Throughout the night, elemental entertainers, including the Saints Cheer Krewe, Mardi Gras Indians, Zulu Tramps, and showgirls, created an authentic and unforgettable Big Easy experience. Everywhere I turned, there was something new to marvel at, each performance more mesmerizing than the last.
