JW Marriott – Edge Rooftop

110 E 2nd St | Edge Rooftop bar boasts one of the highest views of Congress Avenue and Lady Bird Lake, featuring a pool bar, rentable luxury cabanas, private and semi-private event spaces for 10-200 guests, and a new evening lounge experience on the terrace open to non-hotel guests. W Hotel – Wet Deck

200 Lavaca St. | The Wet Deck at the W Hotel has been one of the most attractive and popular spots for a summer crowd in the last several years. Non-hotel guests are welcome to access the pool for a $15-day pass and $30 on Sundays. Guests also have the option to rent a cabana for their group. Go for a refreshing dip in the pool or book a spa appointment.

Fairmont Austin Rooftop Pool

101 Red River Street Austin | Fairmont Austin’s vegas-style rooftop pool offers resort-style amenities on the 7th floor of the luxury hotel. It’s the perfect spot for people watching and lounging poolside while enjoying complimentary chilled towels, frozen fruit, and pampering. Guests can also order from a menu of refreshing, summer cocktails and elevated snacks. Day passes start at $40, with additional options for cabanas and day beds.

Hotel Van Zandt – Geraldine’s

605 Davis St | The rooftop pool on the 4th floor of the Hotel Van Zandt offers beautiful rooftop views from Rainey, overlooking downtown and town lake. Guests will enjoy and drinks and snacks from Geraldine’s from the comfort of a lounge chair. Passes are $38 for adults and $15 for children, with cabana passes available for groups.

The LINE Hotel Pool

111 E Cesar Chavez St | The LINE’s beautiful saltwater infinity pool overlooks the town lake and the Congress Avenue Bridge, representing true Austin style. South Congress Ave. | One of Austin’s oldest and most authentically original spots, Austin Motel, offers 3-hour day passes starting at $20 (Mon – Thurs) and $40 (Friday – Sunday), as well as a new Swim Club that allows you to enjoy an endless Texas summer all season long. Caesars Entertainment Unveils Stunning Transformation with the Grand Opening of Caesars New Orleans

New Orleans, LA - On October 22, 2024, I recently had an opportunity to attend the grand opening of Caesars New Orleans, marking the completion of a stunning $435 million transformation of the former Harrah’s New Orleans. It was an evening to remember, filled with excitement, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion. Anthony Carano’s pride in introducing Caesars to New Orleans was palpable. “From local favorite Emeril Lagasse to our long-time partner, Chef Nobu, to the beautiful state-of-the-art Caesars Sportsbook, all-new rooms and gaming floor, and of course, our gorgeous new center bar, Octavia, Caesars New Orleans offers something for everyone. It’s a world-class resort in the heart of the Big Easy, and we can’t wait for our guests to experience it,” he said. The ceremony was a spectacle, kicking off with an iconic Mardi Gras float featuring Caesar and his court, and a dazzling firework show that lit up the New Orleans sky. The second-line band then led us revelers into the resort’s elegant center bar, Octavia, where we indulged in a “Taste of Caesars New Orleans.” Each bite from the six on-property restaurants was a delightful journey, capturing the essence of New Orleans’ rich culinary scene. Throughout the night, elemental entertainers, including the Saints Cheer Krewe, Mardi Gras Indians, Zulu Tramps, and showgirls, created an authentic and unforgettable Big Easy experience. Everywhere I turned, there was something new to marvel at, each performance more mesmerizing than the last.
