Austin-born “farm to taco” concept, Tacodeli, will open in the heart of downtown Austin on Monday, June 10, with a few fun surprises to the first guests in line on opening day.
Founded by Mexico City-native Roberto Espinosa in 1999, Tacodeli fuses Mexican flavors with Austin’s friendly vibe. For twenty years, Tacodeli has perfected the handcrafted taco experience through an unwavering commitment to quality ingredients, culinary creativity, exceptional guest service and its community.
This will be Tacodeli’s sixth Austin-area location and eleventh location overall. The downtown location will offer its signature menu of over 40 tacos, salads and starters—award-winning salsas, queso, guacamole—for breakfast or lunch daily. Dine in, call ahead or online-order favorites like The Otto made with organic refried black beans, double bacon, avocado and jack cheese and The Cowboy made with dry-rubbed beef tenderloin, grilled corn, caramelized onion, roasted peppers, guacamole, and queso fresco. In addition, the downtown Tacodeli allows guests to bring their own alcohol. The new location will feature a tribute to longtime Tacodeli artist Cindy “Crash” Raschke with a large mural by local, award-winning artist Mila Sketch. Garage parking within 301 Congress is available for guests, with free two-hour parking on weekends.
The centrally located Tacodeli will provide guests easier access to order and host catered breakfast or lunch with a variety of options from breakfast tacos to large buffets. Nearby offices and businesses can find more information about Tacodeli Catering HERE.
After hours, the new location will be available as a venue for events, buy-outs and more with customizable catering options for work or play. With a spacious, open layout, Tacodeli will be a great venue for groups in the heart of downtown Austin.
