Chameleon Companies has opened Wu Chow’s second location, at 3800 North Lamar Blvd #170. The restaurant is now accepting reservations, which can be conveniently made online through OpenTable.

Under the visionary leadership of Executive Chef Ji Peng Chen, Wu Chow’s farm-to-wok menu will feature beloved restaurant favorites, including the delectable Crispy Sesame Beef, Honey Pecan Prawns, Salt and Pepper Squid, and Dry Fried Local Green Beans. Not to be missed are the wide variety of Handmade Steamed and Fried Dumplings, showcasing the culinary artistry of the talented chefs. The new location at Wu Chow 38th will also offer exclusive dishes specially curated for the north Austin community, including larger-format, family-style offerings. Similarly, the downtown location will feature its own unique menu items. Both locations are dedicated to accommodating various dietary preferences, with a diverse selection of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

The bar at Wu Chow 38th is set to impress with a range of fan-favorite cocktails. Guests can indulge in the Texan’s Take On Tiki, a tantalizing blend of Montelobos Mezcal, Grand Marnier, lime, avocado, cucumber, and jalapeno. The Nole Gingko offers a delightful combination of Noble Oak Bourbon, El Silencio, Giffard Abricot duRoussillon, lime, pineapple, and egg white, while the Green Dragon captivates with Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeño Tequila, Ancho Reyes Liqueur, lime, and lychee soda. The bar will also serve a selection of beer, wine, zero-proof cocktails, and surprise additions to commemorate the opening.

Exciting additions await guests at the new Wu Chow location. A private dining room, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities and its own private entrance, will be able to accommodate up to 40 people. Furthermore, the restaurant will boast three distinct patios on its west, north, and east sides, allowing diners to enjoy their meals in an al fresco setting.

Wu Chow on 38th and Lamar will initially offer dinner service from Monday to Saturday, between 4:30 pm and 10 pm. Lunch service will commence on June 19, running from 11 am to 2 pm, followed by the introduction of Dim Sum brunch on July 8, available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm. Captivating photos of Wu Chow can be found here.
