Wham Bam Bagels & Coffee is rolling their retro food RV up to the south Austin food scene to offer up some New York style bagels, bagel sandwiches and artisan coffee, as they prepare to open for business on Saturday, November 30, at their new location on South Congress Ave.

Wham Bam will offer kick-ass bagels and bagel sandwiches (sourced from their pals at Rosen’s Bagels) and a coffee courtesy of Abita Roasting Co. based in Covington, Louisiana., all out of rare retro RV that is preserved in its original form. Keep your eyes peeled for the pink exterior, fuchsia lettering, and gold stripes.

Created by self-proclaimed Bagel Betch and founder of Aviary Wine + Kitchen Marco Fiorilo and business partner David Mireles, Wham Bam’s menu will include five bagel sandwich options: the Lox on Bagel served with Nova lox cured salmon, plain cream cheese, capers, shaved shallots, and shaved tomatoes; a housemade smoked Pastrami Sandwich with creole whole grain mustard, and Gruyere; a homemade Roast Beef Sandwich served with horseradish cream cheese, arugula and  shaved tomato; a jalapeño marinated Chicken Sandwich with greens, grilled onions and peppers; and last, but not the highest in calories, a Veggie Sandwich fully loaded with seared shiitake mushrooms, spinach, shallot vinaigrette, basil and lime aioli. They will also offer breakfast bagel sandwiches with your choice of bacon, sausage, ham, and eggs, or just grab a bagel with any of their housemade schmears, like berry & bacon jam.
