Waterloo Greenway’s signature event, Pop-Up Picnic, is back in-person for the first time in two years! Join us on April 9th at the newly-reopened Waterloo Park for an evening of food, friends and a beautiful sunset over the Capitol as we celebrate the picnic’s 10th anniversary. 

Featuring curated picnic baskets from some of Austin’s most beloved local restaurants, all proceeds from Pop-Up Picnic will directly benefit Waterloo Greenway Conservancy to keep Waterloo Park beautiful and activated with free programming for the entire community all year round.

Skip the line at Franklin Barbecue and enjoy your very own BBQ basket here at the park! You can also enjoy homestyle Hill Country cooking (without the drive) from Hildee’s Texas Dine-Inn, a Wimberley favorite, and of course, Lucy’s Fried Chicken – the perfect finger lickin’ picnic dinner.
