Uchiko will continue to celebrate all things vegetarian by launching a monthly vegetarian night on the third Monday of every month.  Starting September 15, the restaurant will offer a menu completely devoted to vegetarian specials. Ranging from veggie nigiri ($2) to the full tasting menu, there will be something to entice even the biggest meat eaters. Guests can expect to find seasonal changes, in addition to surprising combinations.

Highlights for September’s menu will include sunflower seed congee with watercress and truffle, chickpea tofu with okra and facing heaven pepper, and Hausbar Farm tomato with cucumber and Montpellier butter. (images below)

This monthly occurrence will join the daily vegetarian signature tasting menu (below) and the daily Sake Social where non-meat eaters can take advantage of the light bights and drinks at a discounted price.

Daily Vegetarian Tasting Menu

2 Nasu or 2 Avocado pieces

Uchi Salad

Komaki

Kinoko Nabe

Sweet Corn Sorbet

Total price- $51
