Tumble 22 Hot Chicken food truck will be expanding to it’s first brick-and-mortar location in north Austin, coming in February 2018, located at 7211 Burnet Road, Austin.  The space was previously occupied by Twisted Root Burger Co.

The Nashville-style hot chicken trailer currently operates at Star Bar on West Sixth Street.  Although it fits perfectly in with the W. 6th St. night life, the new location will be a welcome addition to Burnet Rd. culinary scene.  The new location will maintain a fast-casual, tableside service, seating up to 140 guests.

Alongside the favorite chicken sandwiches and sides everyone enjoys at the truck, the menu will include freshly shucked and fried oysters, bone-in, fried chicken tenders, salads, and other new menu items including the duck fat fries, mac ‘n cheese, and house-made pies such as the Texas Pecan, Tennessee Buttermilk and Mile-high Lemon Meringue as well as soft serve ice cream and shakes.

In addition to picking up takeout, patrons will be able to enjoy a full bar complete with local craft beers on tap, bottled beer, a special house Vodka Lemonade and frozen margaritas.  Happy Hour will be offered everyday 4 PM – 6:30 PM with ½ price tenders and sliders, $2 off beer and drinks.

No specific date has been announced for the new location, but it is expected to open this February.

Location:  7211 Burnet Road, Austin TX
