One of the most popular drinks on the cocktail menu at Truluck’s is the VOILA! A sensory tour de force of dry ice smoke, Vodka, cava, Chambord, pineapple juice, raspberries.

The cocktail has recently been rebranded for Valentine’s Day weekend and will briefly be named, “TRU LOVE” cocktail. Available now at Truluck’s for $16.

Tru Love Cocktail Recipe:

• 1 oz. Sobieski Vodka
• 1⁄2 oz. Chambord
• 1⁄2 oz. Pineapple Juice
• Splash of Fresh Lime Juice (a sixth of a lime squeezed)
• Half a soup spoon of powdered sugar
• 3 raspberries
• 2.5 oz. Poema Cava
• 1 knuckle sized piece of dry ice (only one!)
• Edible flowers* (Truluck’s uses violets)

Sugar Rim a martini glass. Add a knuckle-size piece of dry ice to the bottom of a martini glass, then tamp it down with the back of your muddler. You don’t want to break it, you just want to make sure it is stuck onto the bottom. Add vodka, Chambord, pineapple, lime squeeze into a shaker and shake vigorously, then transfer to a larger carafe. Add raspberries and cava into a carafe. Gently pour your mixture over the dry ice in the martini glass. Garnish with edible flower. This drink will be smoking.

*Edible flowers can be ordered from www.gourmetsweetbotanicals.com
